Small employer with grandfathered plan that carrier will no longer offer in 2014. Forced to select a bronze level plan and pass at least half of the 24% increase to my 14 employees who haven’t had a raise since 2008.
The state department of insurance refuses to allow my carrier to offer my plan for sale in 2014. They cite the ACA that carriers am only issue plans which meet the bronze metal levels. There is no exception for grandfathered plans as was promised by the president.
