My wife and I recently retired at ages 60 and 61. Only married a year, our combined incomes pushed us just over receiving any subsidy. This year (2016) we had a terrible BCBS policy through the exchange with a 6500 deductible at $1150 per month. The bronze plan of course. For 2017 we just found out our new premium will be $2048 per month. The 1150 was bad enough. Over $2000 is ridiculous. It;s about 27% of our income. I’m beyond pissed!!!
