Could not keep my plan, & premium up $924/Mo.

My wife and I are between 60 & 64. We have an individual insurance plan with Blue Cross Blue Shied of NC. We were notified by BCBS that we would not be able to keep our plan because we could not be grandfathered in since we got our plan after March 2010. We signed up in Nov 2010.They told us that our premium would likely go up significantly because;
1. We would receive additional coverage to include maternity and pediatric. Obviously at 60 we do not need either.
2. Cost would go up for healthy people so sick people could pay less and those we preexisting conditions could get coverage.
3. New taxes.
We received our new policy and the cost will go from $679/Mo. to $1,603/Mo. If my math is right that is 2.36 times.
I have tried to log in 4 times at healthcare.gov but without success. Either something was missing or I got an error message. It is likely based on our income that we will get a subsidy, perhaps a large subsidy. This does not make me happy. We have always been self reliant and we do not like the thought of taxpayers paying our way. The bottom line is we cannot afford to pay $19,236 a year for healthcare an increase of $11,088 per year and this does not include a $3,000/$7000 deductible. For us the ACA is not affordable.
